Ulysisi Mary Smith's Obituary
Ulysisi “Mary” Smith, age 87, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home. She was born August 3, 1927 in Pittsburg, PA to John C. and Katherine H. (Ellinger) Heastings. She worked as a Telephone Operator, was a member of the Community Bible Church, served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, and has been a resident since 1985, coming from Miami, FL. Survivors include her Sons – John Smith (Sharon); Robert Smith (Margaret); James Smith; Daughter – Kathy Hardwick (Howard); Daughter-in-law – Eileen Smith; 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband – Charles Ray Smith; Son – Charles Jeffrey Smith; and Grandson – John Kevin Smith. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
