Sally J Celentano's Obituary
Sally Jean Celentano, age 77, passed away Sept. 17, 2017 in Sebring surrounded by her loving children. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 7, 1940. Sally, along with her late husband, Frank Celentano, moved to Sebring in 1971 from Hollywood, Florida. Together they established Buckeye Automotive, which still operates today as a family business. Sally was the matriarch of the Celentano Family and loved nothing more than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Tenneson (Brian), Vicki Pontius (Rick), Lisa Celentano-Lawrence (Jeff), and Christine Celentano; sons, Frank Celentano III (Darlene) and William Celentano (Lisa), all of Sebring; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richie Granata (Barbara) and Robert Granata (Linda); and sister, Marie DePoto.
A private Celebration of Life for the family will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
