Roberta Bobbie Richardson's Obituary
Roberta “Bobbie” Richardson, age 92 , Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully at Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center on May 12, 2020. She was under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. Her niece, Jan was at her side as she peacefully slipped away.
Bobbie was born in Sarasota, Florida on June 6, 1927 and lived most of her life in Florida where she enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including ceramics, silk flower arranging, oil and acrylic painting, water aerobics, sewing and especially dining out at her many favorite spots. Bobbie was quick-witted, generous, full of spunk and loved by many. Bobbie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Rauch, four grandchildren, LeeAnn Prince, Donald “Donnie” Rauch III, James Rauch Jr., and Tracy (Steve) Bronson; six great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece, Jan Scarboro-Hutchins and many more nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Bobbie was predeceased by her mother, Lelia Lownsdale, her two sons, Donald “Buddy” Rauch II and James “Jimmy” Rauch Sr., brother, Jack Lownsdale Sr. and sister, Helen Scarboro.
There will be a graveside service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, on May 19, 2020 at 11:00 am.
Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, Sebring, FL.
