Robert Lee Thompson Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Lee Thompson, Sr., 85, of Sebring, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. Mr. Thompson was born May 16, 1930 in Portsmouth, OH to his parents, Frank James and Helen Isabela (O’Dell) Thompson. He moved to Sebring in 1979 from Portsmouth and retired from the Polk County School District in 1996. Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Lois; children, James Thompson and wife, Sandy of Portsmouth, OH, Deborah Waddell and husband, Mike of Amanda, OH, Matthew Thompson and wife Carol of Columbus, OH, Robert Thompson, Jr. and wife Barbara of Avon Park, FL, Mark Thompson and wife, Rhonda of Sebring, FL, and Scott A Thompson of St. Petersburg, FL; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Thompson will be held 10:00am, Friday, June 19, 2015 in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
