Robert R Gobert's Obituary
Robert R. Gobert, age 91 Passed away on February 4, 2017 in Sebring Florida. He was born March 9, 1925 in Weirton, West Virginia to his parents, Roy and Ida Gobert. Robert has been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 1992 coming from Michigan City, Indiana. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy and was a retired LT. Commander. Robert enjoyed fishing, playing golf and was very active in The First Presbyterian Church where he was an elder, a deacon and also taught Sunday School. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Gobert, his daughter Lee Ann Esper (Michael) of Michigan City, Indiana and his son Robert Victor Gobert of Chicago, Illinois. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There will be a visitation for Robert at the First Presbyterian church on February 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM with the service beginning at 11:00 AM.
