Mrs Odessa T Leverson's Obituary
Odessa T. Leverson, 91, of Avon Park, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 11, 2014. Mrs. Leverson was born September 6, 1923, in Hainesville, GA to the late Jim and Bertha Lee (Allen) Tukes. She was a member of the Antioch Church of God in Christ in Avon Park and loved to fish. She was a hard worker and had many jobs over the years, picking fruit, cleaning homes, cooking in a restaurant, and after obtaining her GED and CNA license, she worked and retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home. Survivors include her 10 children, 7daughters and 3 sons; 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren and 2 very close nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Leverson will be held 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, September 19, 2014, in the Antioch Church of God in Christ with the funeral at 11:00am on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the church with interment following the service in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
