Mr. Merito M. Rodriguez's Obituary
Merito M. Rodriguez, 67, Avon Park, FL, passed away on April 14, 2014 at Florida Hospital in Sebring surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Rodriguez was born on September 22, 1946 in Palmarito, Dominican Republic to his parents Jose and Lucia Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was a former bus driver for Kent County Head Start in Grand Rapids, MI. He was a member of the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL. He was very involved in his church and loved to play dominos. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years: Lourdes Rodriguez of Avon Park, FL; a son: Abner Rodriguez (Maria) of Huntsville, AL; two daughters: Eyssy Moore (Milton) of Grand Rapids, MI and Abneyris Garcia (Dennis) both of Grand Rapids, MI; five brothers: Ramon Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, MI, Charles Rodriguez of Avon Park, FL, Luis Rodriguez of Avon Park, FL, Enrique Rodriguez of Avon Park, FL and Augustin Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters: Cristina Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, MI and Rosa Amelia Rodriguez of The Dominican Republic; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL with a Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00AM at The Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL, with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Avon Park, FL.
