Max Jack Mixon Jr.'s Obituary
Maxwell Jack Mixon Jr. Passed away on May 1, 2018.
He was born on November 17, 1957 to Maxwell and Juanita Wright Mixon Sr. in Bonifay, FL. Following his graduation from Avon Park High School Max joined the U.S. Army. He then went on to a full career as a corrections officer and retired after 25 years from APCI. Max is survived by his daughters, Linda Flowers (Greg Sweetin), Karen (Chuck) Frazier, Jennifer (John) Minichino and Nichol Young; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother Bill (Diane) Mixon and sister Gail Mixon. He was predeceased by his parents and his loving wife Mary.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, at 3:00 PM at the Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL and the funeral service will begin at 4:00 PM.
