Maria P. Gomez's Obituary
Maria P. Gomez, 83, of Avon Park passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. Mrs. Gomez was born January 5, 1931 in Moca, Dominican Republic to the late Ubaldino and Andrea Gomez. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. She moved to Avon Park in 1999 from Michigan and attended the Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Survivors include her children, Benjamine R. Gomez, Iris Santos, Virginia Gomez, Luis R. Gomez, Santiago Gomez and George Gomez; siblings, Ruth Bernardino, Joel Gomez, Nuris Gonzalez, Enoc Gomez, Genoveba Gaton and Abner Gomez; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Gomez will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church with interment following in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
