Katherine Fannin's Obituary
Katherine Fannin, 86, of Avon Park, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Mrs. Fannin was born November 23, 1929 in Wayland, KY to Jerry and Josephine (Wills) Wallen. She retired as a credit manager for the Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, OH. Katherine moved to Avon Park in 2001 from Xenia. She loved painting, reading, cooking, bird watching, flowers and baseball. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Luther “Bob”; children, Jeri Schopp of Grand Island, NY, Stephen and Rosemary Fannin of Warren, PA, Cathy and Ron Watts of Sebring, Leslie and Dave Smith of Dayton, OH; brother, Joe Wallen; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11am, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Avon Park with interment following in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
