Judith Merrifield Wade's Obituary
Judith Merrifield Wade passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Springhill, FL. She was born on March 9, 1926 in Clay Center, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Alfred A. Wade, and her sister, Jane Sherwood. Judy is survived by her daughter-Alexandria (James) Hicks, and her sons-Christopher(Marie) Wade and Montgomery (Dianne) Wade. She was the loving grandmother of Wade (Sheri) Sullivan, Samantha Sullivan, Sabrina (Greg) Mauldin, Alison (Jeremy) Reese, and Ross (Renee) Wade and the devoted great-grandmother of Hannah, Grace, Danny, Evan, Madelyn, Lily, Mia, and Sophie. She is remembered for her generosity and kindness to her family and her charitable acts, including being a life-long supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She will be dearly missed. There will be a funeral mass on Monday, May 11, 2015, 10:00am, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park with Father Nicholas McLoughlin officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 2015, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
