Mr. Javier Rodriguez's Obituary
Javier Rodriguez, age 89, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 17, 1926 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to the late Generoso and Sofia Cirilo Rodriguez. He moved to Sebring in 1993 from Cleveland, Ohio and was a member of Primera Iglesia Hispana Asambleas De Dios where he sang and played his guitar. Javier had a wonderful sense of humor and he enjoyed gardening. His greatest joy was his love for God and his family. Survivors include his sons: Samuel Parrilla; Angel Luis Rodriguez; David Rodriguez and Abner Rodriguez, his daughters: Olga Iris Orozco; Sara Rodriguez and Dorcas Davila, brothers: Hilario Rodriguez and Rafael Fuentes, and sisters: Sara Lebron; Maria Rodriguez and Judy Fuentes, twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren. Javier was preceded in death by his wife: Isabel Rodriguez-Fuentes, son: Fernando Parrilla and daughter: Tamar Rodriguez. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 beginning at 11:00a.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring with Pastor Lydia Colòn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park.
