Jack Payne Comer's Obituary
Jack Payne Comer, age 92, of Sebring, Florida passed away July 4, 2015. He was born December 22, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Sima and Alta (Payne) Comer. He was a chemist for Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jack was a member of the First Baptist Church of Avon Park, VFW, American Legion, served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1997, coming from Marathon, FL.
He is survived by his beloved Betty Lou of Sebring, FL; Daughter – Suzanne Comer of Sebring, FL; 3 Grandchildren – Brian, David, and Chris; and 6 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife – Imogene Comer.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park. Family will begin receiving friends at 9:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
