Halcyone L Hines' Obituary
Halcyone L. Hines, age 83, of Sebring, Florida peacefully went to her rest on Saturday, March 26, 2016, after a brief illness. Retired registered nurse for more than 50 years, all she ever wanted to be was a Christian missionary nurse to serve and help suffering humanity. She studied, worked and lived in Jamaica, England, Canada and the United States of America where she has permanently resided since 1972.
In 1991, she relocated from Detroit, Michigan to live and work in Highlands County. Lifelong Seventh Day Adventist, she transferred membership to join the Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she actively served and supported the mission until her end.
She is survived by four brothers, four sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 3. 2016 at 2 pm at the Ridge SDA Church, 507 W Hal Mcrae, Blvd, Avon Park, Fl 33825. Memorial donations may be made to the Ridge SDA Church Afterschool Program and Pathfinder Club.
