Mrs. Gertraude S. Guillory's Obituary
Gertraude S. Guillory, age 71, passed away on March 6, 2014. She was born on January 23, 1943 in Gross Kuren, Germany. She has been a resident of Highlands County since 1980. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to cook and bake and lie in the sun and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by one son: Jacques Guillory and daughter-in-law: Dusty – Avon Park, FL; one sister: Monica Johann – Shepherdstown WV; two grandchildren: Devin and Simone and her best friend Milo (a 3lb. bundle of hair and love). There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park in the Garden of Honor. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
