Gerald Wallace's Obituary
Gerald R. “Jerry” Wallace, 89, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. Mr. Wallace was born July 2, 1926 in Georgetown, OH to Ralph Stanton and Orissa (Donohoo) Wallace. He was a U.S. Navy, WWII Veteran and then became a firefighter for Dayton FD retiring in December of 1980. He was a past mason and loves boating and fishing. Jerry moved from OH to the Keys in 1992 then to Punta Gorda in 1996. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Sherry; daughter, Ann Carr of Wilmington, OH; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the near future in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
