Florence Lorraine Ohrt's Obituary
Florene Lorraine Ohrt, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on October 4, 1921 in Chester, Iowa to the late Rede and Alice (Latchum) Larson. Florene was united in marriage to Everett Ralph Ohrt on October 3, 1942 in Yuma, AZ while Everett was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Florene and her husband of 72 years, Everett moved to Sebring in 1972, where they owned and operated Ohrt’s Mobile Village and Hammock Mobile Estates, coming from North Mankato, MN. They attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sebring. In her spare time she enjoyed bingo, golf, bowling, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, watching sports, and traveling when she was able. Her real joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florene is survived by her husband: Everett Ralph Ohrt, her children: James Everett (Linda) Ohrt; Jennifer Alice (Tom) Solyntjes and Jeri Kay (Santos) Roman all of Sebring, her grandchildren: Brian (Christine) Ohrt-Winter Haven, FL; Brad (Ashley) Ohrt-Dekalb, IL; Chris (Bethany) Solyntjes-Middleburg Heights, OH; Daniel (Summer) Solyntjes-Sebring, FL; Alexandra “Alex” (Mike) Wagner-Orlando, FL and Victoria “Tori” Roman-Sebring, her great-grandchildren: Kyle Ohrt; Carson Ohrt; Ella, Vera and Liam Solyntjes and Baby Girl to be born this week. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Alice and Rede Larson, step-mother, Merle Larson, twin sister: Florence Hungerford, brother: Douglas Rede Larson; and sister: Shirley Pagliarini. There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 beginning at 6:30pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sebring with Pastor Tom Schneider officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm at the church.
