Mrs. Elizabeth "Isabel" Martinez's Obituary
Isabel Elizabeth Martinez, most commonly known as Eli, 81, of Avon Park passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Mrs. Martinez was born January, 28, 1933 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Demetrio and Justina Villalobos Melendez. She was a retired dress designer moving to Avon Park in 1999 from N.J. She was a member of the Walker Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church in Avon Park. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Aristarco Martinez; brother, Samuel Melendez; sister, Doris N. Robles; son, Aris S. Martinez; daughter, Eileen Garcia; grandchildren, Katrina L. Martinez, Jessica B. Garcia, Arielle D. Martinez, Aris C. Martinez and Kevin K. Garcia; 2 great-grandchildren, Troy X. Reyes and Athena Reyes. Funeral services for Mrs. Martinez will be held 6:00pm, Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Avon Park Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Frank Gonzalez and Pastor Abner Gomez officiating. Interment will be 3:00pm, Friday, April 25, 2014 in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
