Mr. Edgar R. Cronin's Obituary
Edgar R. Cronin, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 in Sebring, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 22, 1932 to Patrick J. and Loretta (Tully) Cronin. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church; Graduated from New York University and worked as a Paralegal protecting the Trademark of Nabisco; he was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree; Pro Life chairman at St. Catherine Catholic Church; an Eucharistic Minister for the hospital and homebound; He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict; He was a resident of Sebring since 1998 coming from Hightstown, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane M. Cronin; daughters, Kathleen (Matthew) Nye; Maryanne (James) Higgins; Virginia (Darrell) Sanders; sons, Kevin Cronin; John (Debra) Cronin; Patrick (Bridget) Cronin; brother, Eugene Cronin; sister, Blanche (Jack) Arnold and 11 grandchildren; He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Cronin and sister-in-law, Margaret Cronin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 5:00-7:30 PM with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Service will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Jose Gonzalez and Father Peter Sheehan officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Honor.
