Mrs. Bertha C. Martin's Obituary
Martin, Bertha C., age 99, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday November 11, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. She was born August 10, 1914, to Homer A. and Sadie (Hoke) Poorman in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1967, coming from Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Fellowship Church. She did a lot of volunteer work, over 1,000 hours with Nu Hope and enjoyed helping out at Bible conferences around the United States. She is survived by her sons Dale Martin, Sebring, Florida and Douglas Martin, Ospry, Florida. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Rev. W. Mike Adams officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Florida.
