Barbara Ann Rahrig's Obituary
Mrs. Rahrig was born November 24, 1947 in Meridian, Mississippi to Minor and Beulah Mae Bateman. After graduating from Sebring High School, Barbara served for the Highlands County Sherriff’s office then served as a Sergeant with the Miami/Dade Police and retiring from Sewell’s Point Police Department in Martin County. After retiring she returned to Highlands County and worked with title insurance for Real Estate closings. She was a member of the House of Worship and Prayer Church in Sebring and loved her family and animals. Survivors include her loving husband of 14 years, Gilbert; daughter, Tammy Duguay and husband, Aldo of Port St. Lucie; grandsons, Mark, Sebastian and Chase. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. Barbara’s family will celebrate her life 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 12, 2018 in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
