Armetta Robertson's Obituary
On Friday, November 20, 2020, Armetta Howard Robertson peacefully entered the gates of Heaven, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 24, 1931, to Maggie Blunt and Louis Howard in Fairfield, Florida, Armetta devoted her life to raising her children single-handedly, with dignity and love Predeceased by her daughter Cassandra Tate and parents Armetta is survived by her daughters, Retta Moore (Donald
and Sebrena Thomas (Leon); son, Alonzo Robertson, Jr: son-in-law Thad Tate, Jr: grandchildren: Tondelayo Baker
Juacoby Wilder, Alonzo Robertson lll and Briah Thomas. In additional, survived by numerous great and great great grandchildren and other relatives.
Armetta was aproud graduate of E 0 Douglas High School and loved sharing stories of her happy experiences as a student. She was a longtime member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, as well as a member of the National Council of Negro Women and a member of the Heroines of Jericho
A master gardener, she loved working in her garden and was able to bring even the most chalenging plants to grow and thrive. She extended that talent to everyone in her life
and was always ready - by her caring, adhvice and example - to help bring the people in her life to blossom, grow and succeed
Armeta was an amazing, loving woman who lived her life with dignity and strength. She will be sorely missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to know and love her
