Anna Ruth Haggewood's Obituary
Anna Hagewood, 72, of Avon Park, FL. passed away, Monday August 7, 2017. Anna was born in Manchester, TN to the late Lewis Thomas and Mamie Ruth (Swoape) Wood on September 8, 1944. Anna made Avon Park her home in 1970, coming from Frostproof, and was of the Christian Faith. She was a great cook and she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Alvin J. Hagewood of Avon Park, FL. Daughters: LaNita (Jeffrey) Roth of Avon Park, FL, Lisa (Scott) Mason of Avon Park, FL. Grandchildren: Jeston Mason, Rori Roth, Noah Roth and Emilie Mason; Sister, Joyce (Gerald) Rice of TN; Nephew, Burl (Jane) Rice and great-nephew Eli; Sister-in-law, Janice Brogden (Gary) and nephew, Rhyn Brogden and niece Shana Brogden. Her service will be held Saturday, August 12 at 11 A.M. and family will receive guests starting at 10 A.M. at the Church of the Nazarene in Avon Park, FL. Her body will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens following the service.
