Abel S. Ramos' Obituary
Abel S. Ramos, age 77, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on September 1, 1937 in Farr, Texas to the late Casimero and Simona (Soto) Ramos. Abel and his wife came to Sebring in 2005 from Naples, FL, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Lake Placid, FL. He loved the Lord, His Church, the community and especially his family. He would help anyone he could that was in need. Survivors include his wife: Estella M. (Porras) Ramos, daughters: Elvira M. Self; Mary E. Ramos-Hauck; Gloria Urbanowski, son: Abel Ramos, Jr., granddaughters: Ashley, Annette and Alyssa Self; Selena Ramos, grandsons: Michael, Juan and Mateo Ramos; Richard Urbanowski, Jr. and Andrew Urbanowski. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, July 16, 2015, 4:00pm, at Seagate Baptist Church, 1010 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00pm at the church. Then Friday, July 17, 2015 the family will receive friends from 10:00am – 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, FL with a graveside service beginning at 11:30 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL. Memorial contributions may be made in Abel’s memory to: Bethel Baptist Church- Mission Fund, 216 E. Park St., Lake Placid, FL 33852 and to Wilderness Mission care of John and Judy Koessler, 15175 Jack Dowling Circle, Sanderson, FL 32087.
